Terms and conditions


Please read carefully before making a booking Once a booking is made ,this will be regarded as accepting the following conditions.

Bookings

The above tariffs do not apply to public holidays , long weekends.and Victorian school holiday periods  There is a 2 night minimum bookings for weekends If a single nights  are available there is a 25% surcharge on the tariff stated A minimum 3 night booking for public holidays and long weekends applies for either cottage apartment.

Deposits

All bookings require 50% deposit. This is payable by Visa, Master Card or bank deposit The remainder of the tariff is payable on arrival. For bookings made less than one week form the first day of your stay the full amount is payable on booking your accommodation with us.
 Extra free nights specilas must be taken consecutively and no credits are given for another booking

• Bookings made more than 21 days of scheduled arrival date ,the deposit is refundable less $50 + any commissions payable
• Bookings made 7 to 21 days before arrival time We will refund your deposit, less our admin fee of $50 if we are able to fully re book your cancelled dates
• Failure to arrive on the day of booking the full amount is payable and will be deducted from your credit card
• Less than 7 days notice from the first day of your scheduled booking : the full amount is payable and the balance will be charged to your credit card account

Occupancy restrictions

Both Majestic and Fern cottage apartments are couples only accommodation The property is not suitable for pets or children The maximum occupancy in each cottage apartment is two adults.

Miscellaneous charges

• The replacement cost of items that have been unlawfully removed from the apartments
• The replacement cost of items that have been irreparably damaged or broken in either apartment

Gift certificates

• Are not transferrable and may only be used by the person named on the certificate
• Are not refundable or redeemable for cash
• Must be used by the expiry date on the certificate issued
• Change of booking More that 21 days notice from the first day of stay needed

Bushfire or other Emergencies

Fortunately the beautiful villages of Mount Dandenong Olinda and Sassafras have seldom been affected by bushfire. In the event of bushfire danger we will constantly be monitoring the conditions and updates by the CFA to keep you informed. In the event of Extreme Fire Danger we will re schedule your booking if necessary to a later date.

Adeline Bed and Breakfast will accept cancellations for days of extreme fire danger{ FDI} Fire Danger Index of 75 or above, Code Red or Extreme for postcode 3176 You must notify us by email or phone stating that this is the reason for cancellation The cancellation must be acknowledged by us. Under these circumstances we will refund in full any deposits paid for accommodation booked at Adeline.

• We reserve the right to close our operations and cancel your bookings with us in the rare event that we deem necessary for your safety. This may be because of an inability to operate due to circumstances beyond our control Therese circumstances may be due to bushfire danger road closures, an extended power or gas outage , due to storm or floods
• We will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible and try to assist you in finding alternative accommodation We will refund in full any deposits paid for that unused accommodation
